Eden Prairie, MN
Once a small farming community, Eden Prairie (which had only about 2,000 residents in the ’60s) now boasts a population of more than 60,000 that enjoys events like a summer concert series and Arts and Antiques in the Garden. Just 12 miles from the Twin Cities, Eden Prairie has 4,500 acres of open space, including 17 parks, 100 ponds, and many miles of trails.

Parks and Facilities
Eden Prairie is one of the only cities within the metro area where residents enjoy more than 4,500 acres of open space wetlands, including the beautiful views of 17 lakes and more than 100 ponds.
The City has more than 1,000 acres of active use parkland. Bikers, hikers and walkers enjoy Eden Prairie’s nearly 200 miles of sidewalks and trails. An additional 20 miles of nature trails are planned to continue the tradition of enjoying the unique and well-preserved natural areas.
